Official language – Bukkark.
Population – 1 billion
Planet size – a roughly Earth-sized planet
Climate – temperate – as a result of the large biosphere surrounding the planet.
Mean temperature - 24°C.
Geography – a series of gently undulating plains, interspersed with large stretches of fresh water.
Rule – social and political justice in Novapulse are founded upon the concept of the dignity of the individual, and on the things necessary to make that dignity possible. There is no concept of “rights”, which seems to be a uniquely human egocentricity. Instead there is an extended conception of duty and obligation, in terms of which the dignity of the individual is deeply and fundamentally respected. Government is under the stewardship of an Emperor, duly elected by Novapulsians. A council of wise elders, philosophers, explorers, developers and the Group of Eight Chickens from the Street supports the Emperor in her (occasionally "his") duties.
An integral element of Novapulse government is High Command – the outreach operation of the planet that sends undercover operatives to all parts of the universe and maintains and manages diplomatic and trade ties with far-flung galaxies and worlds.
Planet Earth, in the Galaxy Milky Way, has long been of some concern to Novapulsians (and other evolved species in the Universe). The dominant species on the planet – homo sapiens - seems intent on destroying the home world - an event which could have catastrophic effects for the rest of the galaxy and resultantly may impact upon the Universe. While the Andromedans have working teams in place on Earth and regularly send new Star Seeds to aid the effort, their attempts are frequently scuppered by the actions of the Draconians – a reptilian race strongly averse to humankind and keen to make Earth their new home. Novapulsians have therefore started to send watchchickens to act as commentators and report back to, via High Command, the Allied Federation of InterGalactic Associations.
In charge of High Command is Über-Agent the Grand High Cluck.
His second in command, Agent Double Cluck, has been operating undercover on Earth for several years.
Recently, more agents have been sent to Earth as conditions there seem to be unravelling faster than expected. (Global warming and climate change, genetic modification, cloning, environmental destruction, rampant greed and wealth coupled with extreme poverty and illogical religious fanaticism are all things that have raised concern in other worlds.)
One of the undercover agents recently sent to planet Earth to observe and comment is Atyllah the Hen, Chicken with Attitude.
What follows are Agent Atyllah’s notes, thoughts and daily considerations.

Be afraid, be very afraid, anyone who refers to chickens in relation to food must remember only one thing...
"Eat Tofu or Die!"
Now, repeat after me, one hundred and fifty-seven times: "I will not eat chicken, I will not eat chicken."
And repent.

I like the new layout of your blog Atyllah.
Never realised that the infiltration was so widespread before. Pity your role is only to watch and comment. More preventitive measures might be beneificial, especially as it has such an impact on your homeworld, Novapulse and the rest of the universe.

Those measures will be up to others, Moira. If the Allied Federation of InterGalactic Associations feel preventative measures are required, task forces, other than those of the Andromedans, will be sent in.
