Granny Blitzed My Blog

We’re still dealing with fallout from Granny’s lunar turn (see post below). I’d hoped that it was all over and done with, but it seems not. Granny, more than well-miffed by having had her wicked werechicken plans scuppered, managed to sneak out of her room while Aunt Aggie was meditating and turned her attention to the computer and my daily log files. I’m not sure just what she was trying to do – though I guess she had plans to send rude messages to someone (very rude death threats probably) – but what she succeeded in doing was blowing away the entire front page of the log.

So anyone coming to visit the log files yesterday would have been confronted with something like this:

url(http://www.blogblog.com/tictac_blue/tictac_blue.gif) no-repeat 0 6px; } /* links */ a:link { color: #6699cc; } a:visited { color: #666699; } a:hover { color: #5B739C; } a:active { color: #5B739C; text-decoration: none; } /* ---( layout structure )---*/ @media all { #wrap { width: 847px; margin: 0 auto; text-align:

Sigh. Oh the trials of Granny.

Needless to say I now have to face the task of recreating the front page… Thank the Greatest Corncob of Them All that Chicken Man is the kind of human who understands all this stuff. Mind you, Aunt Aggie did suggest that she could do a mind-meld with the computer and fix it that way. But the thing is the computer is human made and I’m not sure quite what Aunt Aggie’s mind would do to it. I’m not sure it even bears thinking about.

Anyway “dear readers” do bear with me while I try to sort out Granny’s latest bit of were-evil.

  • You really do need to keep that granny of yours under control Isn't there anything you can give her that will stop her interfering.

I thought that maybe the authorities were on to you and had shut you down.

  • Granny is a bit of a handful, you're right there, but as for keeping her under control - I'd probably have more like controlling a tornado! Mind you, a good blow to the head with a blunt object might keep her quiet for a while - but can you just imagine what she'd be like when she comes round.

Authorities? What authorities? I've got intergalactic immunity ;-)

  • Granny's got spirit doesn't she? What does she eat? At least you're back to some extent!

  • Oh yes, Granny's got spirit all right - evil spirit!
As for what she eats - corn, beans and too much spinach. Do you think that might account for it?
Personally I think it's all because she's a werechicken. It's affected all her offspring too, who, although not werechickens themselves are just pretty mean. It's been a huge concern to the Council as Novapulsians are generally highly evolved beings - more like Aunt Aggie, though perhaps a little less peace, love and organic cornbread.

  • atyllah is not telling the truth. Corn, beans, seeds etc granny would peck up alright in absence of juicier foodstuff, but she'd prefer a fat maggot, earthworm or cockroach any day, just as any normal or abnormal chicken would

  • Oh make no mistake, Granny loves her maggots and worms - it's just when I mention them most humans get queasy - except those who enjoy a good bowl of garlicky mopani worms - they understand.
